Na'vi River Journey (Animal Kingdom)
Na'vi River Journey is one of the two rides in Animal Kingdom's new(ish) Pandora area. I was lucky enough to get a Fast Past for this one, since the line was pretty long during my visit. But it's nowhere near as long as the queue for Flights of Passage, which I waited ~90 minutes for at rope drop, and once I exited the time was up to 300 minutes. On the other hand, Na'vi River Journey normally hovered around 180 minutes.
I must say that it's not a ride that I'd wait 3 hours for. I might wait an hour at the most, since it's nothing that needs to be done repeatedly, but it is a gorgeous experience. That's really all that it has going for it. It's a slow moving boat ride, just like "it's a small world," Pirates of the Caribbean (without the drop), and Living with the Land. What sets it apart is the scenery which is simply amazing. It's almost as if you've really been transported to Pandora.

Angie,
ReplyDeleteMy blog bud, Lee, mentioned the crazy wait at Disneyland. I just can't imagine doing that for any amusement ride but I would like to visit the Disney theme park someday. Thank you for visiting today!

We did this on a Fast Pass this last visit and really enjoyed it. Like you, we wouldn't wait for 3 hours (or even 1 hour). Fast pass is a huge help.
